"As a clinician, educator, and supervisor, I am committed to helping developing clinicians cultivate competence, confidence, authenticity, and sustainable professional practice."

Why I Created Rooted & Reflective

"I created Rooted & Reflective because I believe supervision should be more than case staffing and accumulated hours. Developing clinicians deserve a space where professional competence, reflective practice, identity, wellness, and ethical growth are intentionally nurtured."

Throughout my own professional journey, I have come to understand that who we are as clinicians profoundly influences the therapeutic relationship. My hope is to cultivate a supervision community where clinicians feel supported, challenged, affirmed, and empowered as they develop their professional voice and clinical identity.

"Rooted & Reflective was created to honor both the clinician and the person behind the clinician."

Belonging, Culture, and Liberation

Rooted & Reflective recognizes that clinicians do not practice outside of culture, identity, history, or systems. Clinical work is deeply influenced by our lived experiences, social identities, relationships to power and privilege, and the broader sociopolitical context in which we practice.

This supervision space intentionally welcomes clinicians from historically marginalized communities, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Indigenous, and other underrepresented identities.

Together, we engage in ongoing reflection regarding identity, power, privilege, oppression, liberation, and culturally responsive care in service of ethical and effective clinical practice.

The goal is not perfection, but a lifelong commitment to humility, accountability, and growth.
